Hometown Heroes Charitable Foundation

Ten years ago, when Chuck and Rob started their Annual Hometown Heroes Charity Golf Classic, they had no idea how much it would grow.   Each year they have donated to various athleticprograms and continued until they came upon a more personal cause....

In 2003, Chuck's youngest son Jackson, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a genetic, life shortening, and incurable disease that affects approximately 30,000 people nationwide.   Chuck and his wife Holly, along with Rob became committed to the cause of helping to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Their goals are to help researchers find a cure, and to develop better treatments which will lead to a better quality of life for those living with CF.

Chuck and Rob recently formed the Hometown Heroes Charitable Foundation whose mission is to raise and donate money to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through various events hosted by Hometown Heroes.

This year Chuck and Rob hosted the 10 th annual Hometown Heroes Charity Golf Classic along with the 2nd Annual Seafood Fest. They recently added a new Annual Softball Tournament which was held at Princess Anne Park. These events are only the beginning of the things that are planned through the Hometown Heroes Foundation.

To date, the Hometown Heroes Foundation has donated close to $100,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We truly feel the sky is the limit to the things we can do. Jackson continues to thrive, giving them hope that because of so many generous contributors, friends, and family, a cure is in our reach!
